Competition

Our next pageant will be held on October 2, 2010 at Bristol Central High School Wolcott Street Bristol.

Join us at 7:00 pm to see who will be crowned Miss Bristol 2011and Miss Bristol's Outstanding Teen 2011 $15.00 admission.

Miss Bristol Scholarship Program a local affiliate to both the Miss Connecticut and the Miss America Scholarship Programs is looking for contestants for Miss Bristol 2011. This year’s preliminary to Miss Connecticut pageant is scheduled for 10/2/10 at Bristol Central High School. Miss Bristol 2011 will go on to compete for the Title of Miss Connecticut in June, 2011.

The pageant is open to young ladies ages 17-24 . Pageant is now open to ladies who live work or go to school in Connecticut.

Eligibility Requirements

· At least 17 years old at the time of the local pageant

· Must be a U.S. citizen

· No more than 24 years old on December 30th of the year of the Miss America national finals

· High school graduate or successfully completed G.E.D. by July 1, 2010

· Female, never married, and have never had any children

· Meet residency requirements for competing in a certain town or state

· Meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America Organization

· Be able to meet the time commitment responsibilities as set forth by the local or state program in which you compete

Children's Miracle Network

Each contestant must raise a minimum of $100 for the Childrens Miracle Network to compete in a Miss Connecticut local pageant. If you compete in more than one local pageant, you must raise a minimum of $100 for each local pageant you enter up to a total of $400. Once you have raised a total of $400, you are not required to raise more money and can enter as many local pageants for which you qualify in the current pageant year. However, the $400 is just a minimum; you may raise more money for CMN is you wish to do so.

To administer the CMN fundraising, each contestant must do the following:
1. Create your personal web page on the CMN web site (see the CMN MAO Guide.pdf for details).
2.Raise the required funds for CMN.
3. Print out proof of money raised to bring with you to the local pageant. If you are personally donating to CMN by check, please make the check out to CMN (not the local pageant). If possible, please try to avoid bringing a check with you the day of the pageant.
